iPhone OS 3.1, MMS, Tethering coming September 9th?
Apple’s special event “It’s only rock and roll, but we like it” is officially on the calendar and set for September 9th. We know they plan to introduce a new iPod touch, iPod Nano, and iPod classic all rumored to have more memory and a camera.
What we now also believe might happen is the release of iPhone OS 3.1 on the same day. The new OS upgrade might include Bluetooth file transfer functionality as well.
That’s not all folks! What else could be done to make the event more exciting and newsworthy? Having AT&T joining the party and making the announcement millions have been waiting for. THE RELEASE OF MMS! We have learned of a new rumor floating around today that AT&T might just unlock MMS and Tethering for the big event!
Another rumor suggest that OS 3.1 will be released September 18th. Either way it’s looking like the end of summer is here. Not only do we get a new upgrade this month for the Mac with Snow Leopard but we could get something for the iPhone as well!
