Apple will be releasing a new generation of iPhone, sometime in the upcoming 2008 year. Instead of being designed for the slower 2.5G EDGE network, it will run optimized on 3G networks. AT&T officials compare this to the difference between dial-up and broadband! This is great news for everyone, especially those in the UK who found their new iPhones to be lacking in speed, and unable to download anything unless switching to WiFi.
