The reviews have been trickling in and I’m sure you’re all aware of it by now, but Google’s first Android OS-based phone is set to make its entrance in the crowded smartphone market this Wednesday on T-mobile’s network.
Anyway, we here at iPhoneNewsBlog haven’t been able to get our hands on a demo unit however we have been trying to keep up with the reviews and the reviewers all seem to have more or less agreed that the G1 is a worthy competitor to the iPhone. We think that the competition is good for Apple and that it will be interesting how Apple’s partnership with Google plays a part in all of this. If you didn’t know before, Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt is on Apple’s Board of Directors
